Wellbeing at Work

dangerous-phrase

Work Well  is a Wellbeing Training Programme which looks after those at the heart of your company, business or charity – the staff. Wellbeing in the workplace is an important feature in any successful company. Google, Apple, Unilever and Heinz are just a few examples of companies who are committed to looking after their staff wellbeing in a positive and meaningful way. Professions such as teaching, the emergency services and caring are also fields in which staff have to deal with stressful situations; they often have high levels of stress and benefit from Wellbeing sessions. Mental wellbeing is crucial and more organisations are now understanding the benefits that Stress Management and Mindfulness programmes can offer, on a personal and professional level.

“Take a proactive approach to employee wellbeing and you have a much better chance of preventing problems that might otherwise lead to long-term sickness…If you have happy, healthy employees, that has an impact on staff motivation, engagement and retention.”  (The Guardian 14 march 2014)

We recognise the importance that emotional wellbeing plays in people being creative, productive, happy and healthy staff members. It is the key to keeping staff happy and motivated. It affects personal, family and work life; relationships, behaviours, performance, and career development.
